Problem

An owner of a farm was experiencing significant challenges due to a low cold water flow rate of less than 6 L/min. They also required bigger water storage capacity to boost water supply to a sink and an outside tap for jet washing.

Solution

Salamander Pumps recommended linking two 450-litre TankBoost CAT5 units (a pumped tank and a storage tank) as a solution. This decision was driven by the customer’s low volume of water flow and pressure entering the property and need of backflow protection, making the TankBoost CAT5 variant an ideal choice for enhancing water performance at a farm.

In August, an installer from Woodhouse Plumbing installed and linked two TankBoost CAT5 units at the farm. After installation, the customer reported a noticeable improvement in water flow and pressure.
