Salamander Pumps Wins Global Design Award

We’re thrilled to announce that our AquaScan digital water multimeter has won an iF Design Award 2025! The iF Design Awards are a globally recognised mark of design excellence, celebrating the best in innovative product design across various industries.

This year’s competition was fierce, with 131 design experts judging nearly 11,000 entries from 66 countries based on innovation, functionality, and overall design quality. We’re in great company, with other winners including Apple, Hitachi, LG, Philips, Panasonic, Fuji, and Dell.

Launched in 2024, AquaScan is our compact, hand-held digital water multimeter, offering four-in-one measurement capabilities—flow, pressure, temperature, and water hardness. Designed for precision and reliability, it gives installers instant insights into water conditions, making their jobs easier and more efficient.

We’ve designed AquaScan to be incredibly versatile. It comes with a range of accessories, allowing it to connect seamlessly to various water outlets, including pipework, hoses, showers, and both indoor and outdoor taps. Newcastle-based Reach Design played a key role in its development, ensuring a perfect blend of functionality and usability.

The iF Design Awards have been recognising outstanding design for over 70 years, and we’re incredibly proud to be part of this legacy.

AquaScan’s success continues to grow, having already won the Innovation Award at the Sunderland Business Excellence Awards. Our team also took home the Product of the Year award at the North East Marketing Awards, and AquaScan was recognised at the prestigious Pump Industry Awards 2025.
